Many couples in the world are facing problems with infertility, and in this modern time the percent of health issues affecting hormones that affect fertility is on the continual rise. By the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) infertility occurs due to disrupted vital balance and blockages in the Qi energy and Blood circulation flow. Chinese Medicine puts emphasis on quality, vs quantity. There are multiple different patterns that can show up in ones cycle to signify an imbalance. In TCM, a diagnosis will be made specific to the individual as two people with the same Western diagnosis, do not always share the same TCM pattern and will be treated individually.

There have been many trials and studies performed on the benefits of Acupuncture and Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) showing as to its positive affects. Acupuncture as a treatment for infertility shows great results both in women and men.
